Students will converse with one another and the teacher will interject sparingly

Discussion topics: birthday celebrations, cuisine preferences, holiday celebrations

We listened to recordings of native English speakers from around the world, varying in age,  gender, education, and occupation

We determined where these speakers were from using key identifiers (diphthongs, speed, "R" sounds, etc.)

Unscheduled, today we mostly talked about Super Tuesday and the US's falling democracy

We discussed how US primaries work (see video below for more)

We talked about Trump's many court cases and how the Supreme Court is entirely corrupted

We covered various topics today on US politics: Biden's State of the Union address and how the US is now a plutocracy

We weighed the pros and cons of self-driving cars (autonomous vehicles), as well as their ethical dilemmas

We also discussed the DeutschBahn, and how to resolve them, if possible
